I don’t know which company OP works for thus I can’t be definitive on non-strategy Big4 vs strategy Big4. OP has to come that conclusion by herself/himself. But EY vs EY-P, or PwC vs Strategy& examples were what I was thinking when answering the question.

There is no reason you can't do it, but worth finding a way to demonstrate what you've done to already make the jump to strategy (e.g. what makes you different from all the other auditors interviewed this week)
Auditing would be a bit far from strategy. I am still going to attempt Tier2 and strategy boutiques, followed by big4 “implementation” consulting (pmo and stuff). Not strategy, but I reckon it’s closer to it than auditing. But I get what you mean, absolutely
What skills help for strategy? What are firms looking for on a resume? I have 8 YOE of BIG 4 and industry exp and trying to break in.
I hope you aren’t asking me, I have yet to join and I am probably not making it to strategy xD as far as I know, they either look for previous strategy experience (as opposed to specific skills) or managerial experience in an industry they do strategy in
Recommend you review job posting for strategy arms. If you’re not fulfilling those details and actually currently doing that work, you’re a hard sell. When I do resume review, that’s the easiest marker
