BCG final round interview in a week. Any tips on what to expect in a partner level conversation?
- how is it different than the round 1 experience?
- how important is the casing component? I'm doing pretty well, but not perfect. Friends have been eating me 8/10, with the need to improve structure and be more top down in my communication. I'm wondering what I can do to improve that in a week and if that will be a deal breaker on interview day?

That’s way too long and only leaves you 10-15 mins or so to solve the case.
Framework should take 1-1.5 min and 2 mins or so to present
You could take a bit longer to add more details for McK but I would not go past 2 mins on framework
2 mins to create, ~2 min to present, which includes your hypothesis where you want to start and why
30-60 secs for framework development. 2-3 minutes to explain. The interviewer doesn’t want to listen to you wax poetic about the types of things you would want to do. They want to get to the doing piece of it.
You don't have to go /that/ fast. Especially for McKinsey.
Depends on the firm. McKinsey requires a very fleshed out and tailored structure where building for 2-3 minutes and presenting for 5-8 minutes is not out of the norm
Im a 1 to 2 minute framework, then 2 to 3 minutes explanation.
Try to keep under 4 is ideal, 5 if the case is a real ball buster.
2 minutes tops to build, 2-3 to present, the rest of the interview to work through the rest of the case
