Looking at these numbers I’m thinking my billables were low even before Coronavirus.
65 or so billable and maybe 30 non-billable. I’m transactional and most everything died or went on hold.
61/77 I’m in a firm of just 2 of us doing mostly transactional. We’ve had a few called off but found that most things haven’t been canceled, just kicked down the road a bit
Think it’s safe to say that there’s lots of self-reporting bias here. If the numbers being reported on this thread were the norm, firms would not be scrambling to furlough and reduce pay.
I think it may also be a bias in the other direction. Most firms aren’t furloughing lawyers or reducing pay (at this point at least) but ATL is reporting on the ones that are.
214. COVID can stop a lot of things but it can’t stop people from suing The Man™️.
152 and April is looking to be sparse.
Looking at these numbers makes me glad I’m in the contingency fee world. Personally earned $165,000 in fees last month.
It’s all relative.
149... not my best but considering the situation, trying not to be too hard on myself
Don’t be !
220... multiple depos just before WFH started and 2 huge doc review projects. I’ve never been so thankful for doc review that during WFH
I would’ve been thankful for a doc review project hahaha
165. My minimum to stay on track for the year is 150 so happy with how it turned out
Great! Keep it up!
267 total, 237 billable, 30 non - a ridiculous month.
206 billable and 9 non-billable. I’d like to thank my second monitor foe helping me achieve these numbers.
217. Busiest month yet (first year). Clients panicked and needed stuff reviewed. Every deal has died that I’m on though so I’ll be lucky to hit 50 this month 😯
150, although I took a week off. Still slow for me though. And that’s not for lack of work—I’ve found it difficult to focus.
160 with 25 non-billable. I’m a 1st year so still learning and wondering where I am at in terms of hours. It’s definitely slowed down a bit due to covid. Terrified of getting laid off since I’m so junior (2019 grad).
Same. I was planning on moving this month but I have no idea how certain my future may be. Nothing has been said to give me that impression, but I’m still nervous.
Around 65 in a Corporate Practice group that is usually pretty busy.
Same here
133, plus 30 pro bono (which does count for bonus). Very worried about this month as everything I was staffed on went pencils down...
215 and 20 nonbillable - labor and employment. Very lucky it seems
130. Corporate transactional. Was hitting 165-175 prior. Still just barely in line with annual requirement but April is looking barren.
180 which means no bonus but I can’t complain. At least I still have a job
140 — corporate/M&A. But it felt like180 because the second half of the month was just a ton of one-off fire drills. Deal flow is rapidly declining. April will prob be a ~110 month (filled with more fire drills). Joy.
