Looking at these numbers I’m thinking my billables were low even before Coronavirus.
65 or so billable and maybe 30 non-billable. I’m transactional and most everything died or went on hold.
61/77 I’m in a firm of just 2 of us doing mostly transactional. We’ve had a few called off but found that most things haven’t been canceled, just kicked down the road a bit
140. Usually at 180-
170. I haven't hit a lull in workload yet.
200+ hours- Labor and Employment
173, first year in real estate/construction. Haven’t seen any kind of slowdown yet and will be working this weekend.
Midwest city, with clients located all over.
230 billables and 250 with nonbillables—general lit.
States.
180. Best month I’ve had so far (first year)
193. Best month so far. Started 6 months ago.
Sadly, 75 billable for March (not including any non-billable work that counts toward our bonuses, for which there’s a cap). I’m corporate/M&A and billed just over 300 in each of Dec & Jan, and then in February things began to slow down a bit. I welcomed that at the time, but all of my deals died in early March.
I’m an insurance defense attorney (general liability) ... I usually bill 200-250 per month. I’m at about 150 for March but I have 2 little kids running around the house. Honestly not sure how anyone with preschool age or younger kids and 2 WFH parents can do it....
I’m in the same boat. Husband and I both working from home with 3 kids (11, 5, and 1), and managing school for the older two and wrangling the little one (and some wrangling of the 5 yr old) has slowed my billing to a crawl. But it’s spring break for the 11-yr-old this week and we are paying him $20/day to wrangle the others. So I’m hoping for a good billing week! Don’t try to be a super parent - just getting through a day with everyone in one piece is good enough for now. You’re doing fine, hang in there!
Oh the humble brag.
200 and 45 significant non-billable. They keep saying that IP is recession proof...
Also 155
149 billable, with 3 days off earlier in the month (wouldn’t have taken them if I had a crystal ball). Usually I’m at 180-210. April is shaping up to be pretty bad - I’ll be lucky if I can even match March.
88 billable. Corporate associate. I average around 155/month.
200 with a few days off earlier in the month
80... But I did 120 in Non billable
So many free CLEs in my state right now that I have been doing as non-billables too between substantive stuff
135 billable. About 25 less than normal. I do mostly family law and let me tell you, people could not freakin wait for such a great reason to keep their kids from their ex/soon-to-be ex...
For the month of April so far, I’m at 36...
190 but only because the first two weeks of March prior to WFH were really busy.
175, with another 43 non-billable for a pro bono case. But heading into April with no significant work right now 😭
