Ok so once per section but if it takes you more than that, don’t let it get you down. I’m in tax and I very nearly failed reg
13 times. 1 BEC, 3 REG (passed twice), 5 Audit, 4 FAR. Took 2 years and was a nightmare but got it done!
Lol shut up pwc3
4. Passed all first try.
PWC3 - get outta here
7. Passed BEC and AUD. Failed REG then passed. Failed FAR. Retook BEC because it expired. Passed FAR. Hope this is a little bit more encouraging! I went through a lot of personal challenges in 2 years and I kept getting distracted but didn't want to give up on it because I knew that if I could just piece myself together I can pass it. Best of luck to you!
@PwC3 🤮....I passed two and felt great and then failed four in a row and my first two expired. That, is a real shitty feeling by the way.
First round: failed FAR 3 times, failed BEC then passed, failed AUD and gave up. Second round a few years later: 72 on FAR, then hit a new groove and passed AUD, FAR, REG, and BEC all in one swipe. Sometimes it’s just where you are in life and how you approach it. That first round of attempts I studied my ass off for months but wasn’t in a good spot mentally. Was a senior trying to make manager. Second round was 5 years later as a Director. Don’t lose motivation but you have to find how you study and make it stick the best. Then it’s just a matter of shoving it all in your brain how the examiners want you to know it, puking it out, and never remembering it again.
Thanks guys 💕!! Honestly it's so reassuring to know that people passed even when they failed! People like me need to put in a lot of effort unfortunately cause I am a slow learner (I can admit this) :( but my gut tells me I can do it.
Passed all first try but everyone has a different experience don’t benchmark. I’ve worked with some really good ppl some have taken it over 12 times but eventually got it.
Lost count after 10, but if I had to guess, 15 tests and 5 figures, easily. I tend to focus on the 4 passes that I finally got after 12 years of testing off and on. It really is about where you are mentally.
I’ve been “studying” off and on for over 6 years. Was not motivated right out of college and half assed it and it showed. Took BEC 3 times (failed twice with a 73/74), finally got a 75. Passed REG after maybe 2 tries? Ended up losing credit for both. Took two years off and finally this year I was truly motivated. Restarted the process with Roger and passed AUD and REG on the first attempt. Taking BEC next week and will knock out FAR in Jan/Feb. Don’t let all these jerks make you feel badly. It’s 100% about your own motivation and place in life and some stuff came so much easier to me now that I actually have work experience and understand accounting in a real way and not just from school. Congrats to those who managed to pass on their first try but don’t discount others who are still trying and fighting for it.
4 sections. Each section once
5, failed REG once with a 74
Okay this is not the response I was hoping for :(
4. I didn’t even know it was possible not to pass
14? 15? I don’t even remember but a lot. It took me 5 years. And I passed Far and Audit twice cause they expired. It’s doable, hang in there.
On #13 and hopefully last Friday. Let’s eat. Show no mercy!
5 - failed FAR with a 73 the first time. It's an awful feeling, but you can't let it get you down. As Roger says, if you study, you will pass.
6, got a 69 on FAR the first time and a 70 on REG the first time. I passed all 4 within a year, but it was definitely a challenge... And my passing score on FAR was a 75, so I barely made it on the second attempt. 😂
