15% if they are exemplary, flat $5 otherwise
Come again?
18% or you don't care. Normally I don't re-staff under 20%.
So you think I should go higher?
It’s also customary to tip MDs from other firms (but no more than 10%). Feel free to DM me for contact details, Venmo, etc
What!?!
Well in the USA I think that's called "bribery" but ok.
I’m in the us. I’m guessing you don’t get promoted often 😂
I’m not at the level to even be tipping.
Tipping is customary in my country at all levels.
Haha comments above need better sense of humor
18-22% is typical. More on your promotion years. There is always debate on if you should tip on the tax.
EY2 who exactly do you tip? Assuming you report up through like 50 different partners?
OPs Practice Lead here.. such a liar, I was never tipped, nor were any of the other Partners nor the hotel maid.
Stop lying or I’ll have you fired!
Right you didn’t tip me, so that’s your culture too innit?
This is a joke...right...?
What's the expense policy for this?
On promotion year I tip a solid 35%
WOW! You’re md must be rich! What practice?
You sir/ma’am, have too much time on your hands.
WTH
Early but unsurprising candidate for worst thread of 2019.
what exactly is meant by tipping ? 🙄😳
^^^ well I never tipped my leadership. I guess I should start doing that to fast track to manager next year.
Ha...ha?
Wut?
What is this tipping leadership stuff? You guys must not have really paid attention to the anti-bribery training
