Meet your minimum. I've seen people negatively regarded for having too high utilization
PTO doesn't impact your utilization. Only hours you actually bill. Standard hours are always 2080.
What exactly is utilization factor?
Just meet the minimum threshold and anything over doesn't really matter.
I think it's 90 or 95% for BTAs but IDK about BAs
@d1 which by definition means that it does impact your utilization, as those are hours that you aren't billing
D1, PTO absolutely does impact your utilization because you are not billing hours while you are on PTO.
For BAs, anywhere from 100-115 you're golden. 95 you're fine. 90-95 questionable. Above 115 you're working too much. Below 90 you likely aren't measuring up.
^ adjust PTO accordingly to make sure you're at least in the right range.
PTO does impact your utilization, also don't go beyond 100 as that is not considered good anymore...it shows either you do not know how to manage your work or you are eating more than you can chew...
You kids need to learn some basic math. This common core shit is killing us.
@D8 that is true and I was told that at my ford year 118% utilization.
It's BS though because as an analyst you pretty much have to work as much as your manager asks you to
Fuck I can't type
