Decision - I was out the door of my nationwide ins dfense firm. Was going to top local firm with a lot more clout where everything would be private pay and I’d be more on bigger exposure cases. However, my firm outmatched the new firm, made a much better bonus structure, and said I could do more work with their complex bus lit group. I’d still likely do about 50 percent ins defense but I really like the partners I work for, and I handle own cases/take depos, and get autonomy. Am I right to stay?

2nd year manager at KPMG strategy current at $205k base (w/ top 10 MBA & 7 yoe). Offered $215k base 10% bonus for a Transformation Director position with a PE backed fintech. WLB is fantastic. There is no clear cut instructions and the onus of coming to office has been left to team leaders who themselves are unsure of what decisions to make.
