I am Chartered accountant with 3 years post qualification experience in assurance global audit from big 4 working for canada. I am getting a CTC of 13.80LPA fixed and variable 1.48 LPA. Is this enough or should I ask for a hike..EY Deloitte KPMG PwC . I am not seeing any notification on the coming hike..
Hi all,
Do firms match offers from other Big 4s for campus hires? I’ve received a campus offer from both KPMG and EY. I’m more interested in the EY offer, but they are paying 3k less than KPMG.
Would it be a bad move to let them know about the other offer and try negotiating? I feel it wont make a difference in the long run, but at the same time I don’t want to leave any money on the table if possible.
Thanks!

Hi guys :) Glad to join fishbowl and this community. Guys I have an offer of 14.41 ctc from a big 4 (11 is fixed).
Technology-Microsoft Dynamics 365(I am a functional consultant in SCM and HR; Relevant exp: 3 yrs & Total exp: 4 yrs).
My interviews in IBM are done and I am waiting for the salary discussion with HR.
What is the likely offer that I am going to get? Any idea? (My expectation is 16.5 lpa ctc). I will adjust my expectations as per replies here.
Any response is highly appreciated :)

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

You missed an important factor - what is current comp? Is a $20k raise a 20% increase or a less than 10% increase? If it's a significant percentage increase, I would be much more likely to consider it.
It’s about a 20% raise. I’m due for another raise at the end of this month so I don’t know what my current updated comp will be. I’ve been guessing about a 8% increase which would make this jump about a 15% (20k) increase

Given your lower salary strong point, I'd heavily weigh which one has a more clear promo path/ career trajectory. Separately, if i didn't like my current team, I'd hop for that $ bump.
I came to Deloitte from a competitor for an almost identical raise (95k to 115k at SC which, yes may be dating myself here)
For me the move was more about career trajectory / opportunity/ culture
(which despite what people say I find to be very good /better than competitors)
So think more about how your job role/ network / client types / exit ops will change vs. Just the salary -- especially early in your career when youre more "plotting a course"
20k on top of what?
