Rising Star
we’re unlimited and most of my team takes 4-5 weeks.
Get your work done.
Don’t screw your team.
Hit your hours.
I’d say go for 20 days minimum. Anything over that just make sure nobody nice is getting screwed. Including yourself. ✌️
Chief
Agencies only do it b/c they legally won’t have to pay you for unused vacation days when they lay you off. Take 5 weeks minimum.
I usually take one 2 week vacation, one 1 week vacation and 1-2 weeks of random days off here and there.
Take no less than 4 weeks and no more than 6
It’s too easy to ignore.
Schedule things in advance and ensure coverage without screwing anyone.
Take at least 3 days off a month and or plan 5 weeks off.
I would say take what your last agency offered at minimum. Usually that’s 2-3 weeks. My plan this year at my new agency with unlimited PTO is to take at least one day off a month + a 5-10 day vacation.
I take 4 weeks plus a Monday or Friday each month for mental health. Put that shit on the calendar and stick to it.
I’m doing 7 weeks this year, 1 week here, 2 weeks there. Not a big deal if you plan ahead and let them know with plenty if time in advance.
The Policy exist to take advantage of it, schedule in advance within the policy guidelines and you won’t be abusing it.
Same. Just started at FCB, which has unlimited PTO, but it sounds too good to be true. My last job offered 5 sick days, 10 vacation days, and 2 personal days. I'd like to take 5 weeks total (15 vacation, 5 PTO, 5 sick) but I'm not sure if that would be abusing the policy.
That is a great plan and totally appropriate. It’s all just time off you don’t have to categorize it for the company.
4 weeks, in Canada.
5 weeks. Probably going to take 7 weeks this year. I was stuck in the states so lots of travelling to do.
1 day. Not even kidding.
Damn. Hope you’re able to take some time off this year.
I only took 5 days last year due to staffing and production needs. This year I am committed to a minimum of 6 weeks. Ideally 8 days a quarter.
We shall see, I have already had (4) live action productions since Jan 3rd…
All 20 days I receive as a part of my package.
Every single day. 15 PTO, 5 personal and 10 sick days. Took them all and plan to do it again next year. Let’s be real we all need mental health days.
I have 4 weeks but usually only take 2.5. I do take advantage of summer Fridays and our holiday break. Unfortunately summer is my busy period at work and I can’t do much with kids during school year.
