Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.
PwC 🐠, I interviewed with the firm about 6 months ago for a Senior Associate position on the forensics team. I wasn’t extended an offer because the position was given to an internal transfer, at least what I was told. I tried reaching out to the recruiter I worked with last time but the email bounced back and wouldn’t be delivered. I was hoping to see / reapply if the group still was looking for seniors.
In your opinion, would it be best to reapply as a cold application?

Guys, Off the topic !
I bought a flat, but it didn't come with 4 wheeler parking, so I had to park on the street outside the apartment. However, the builder still has three closed parking spaces available. Could anyone recommend a negotiated price or a percentage off the flat rate for covered parking?
Thanks.

For perspective, I’m moving for a new role and requested about a month and half prior to my start date.
A month at least specially if you don’t have an apt or know where you want to live
I would say at least a month. It will take so long to find a date for your moving company to take your car, pack and take your stuff, and you need to find a new place to live. 2 weeks seems too short to get everything done. I would personally also want to get myself at least a week after moving in to settle down, adjust etc

It really depends to me. Are you single andoving apartments? 3-4 weeks. Are you moving from house to new house with wife and kids? 1 month to 1.5 months.
