That's about what I'm averaging as well and I always get really good feedback on all of my performance evaluations. I've been told it's for budgetary reasons, but that's starting to feel a little bit frustrating. What's the point of working hard if I'm going to make as much of an increase as somebody who doesn't?
At a bare minimum, your salary should increase at least once a year. I’m a fan of six month reviews, but most organizations won’t do that.
That's the standard range for most major healthcare companies. If you want a higher range the suggestion is to go somewhere where you can get hired in at 10-20% more, but many people won't do that and it may be difficult in this market.
