Many companies do value the experience and steady client skills that come with age. But bias can still show up in some places. The key is showing how your background helps in today’s market and client needs. It’s not perfect yet, but change is happening.

I sure hope you're right. I really do. But its a human thing to favor those similar to you. Some recruiting companies and ATS systems are learning how to remove bias by anonymizing as much as possible, but its tough.

I think subconsciously everyone is biased. It's human nature. It's sad, it's depressing, but its true and I think unavoidable
