Should i explain where in company Y will i start after i exit consulting?

I see so many posts about going in-house and wonder if it’s a possibility for me at some point or if my chosen career path has pretty much closed the door on that, since I mostly see people discussing this in the big law bowl. I do (mostly plaintiff-side) employment lit at a small firm. Are there any in-house roles where the skills I’ve acquired would be useful? Got a 30% salary bump, via an offer for Senior Consultant S&O from Deloitte. Currently underpaid at EY Advisory. I'm MBA and this year is my promotion year at EY for Manager. What to do? Get demoted and move to D? Or counter at EY? Even if EY matches my salary, and promote me to Manager, I will be an EY Manager with a Deloitte SC salary, and probably won't be able to go to D in the future. What do you think? I have built up a good relationship with my Partner and SMs at EY though.

How did you tell your manager you’re pregnant? Did it affect pay/promos? And then, subsequently, how did you start letting colleagues know you’re pregnant? I was a teacher for 4 years and transitioned into the corporate world. I have 6 months experience in marketing and that’s what I currently do, but plan for a lateral move in the future. I’ve seen suggestions of 3-7 years experience - does my teaching experience factor in? Or should I consider the 3-7 years only of my corporate time? Does an MBA (US) make sense for me? Male, Indian, Age 32, Married working in tech consulting with 10 YOE. Base is $165 with steady increases and bonus is typically 15%. I eventually do want to cross the $300K threshold but I know stopping work for 2 years and getting and MBA probably won’t get me a $300K job right away. Becoming a manger in my current company/path will probably get me there in terms of TC. Also considering EMBA from a good school (Wharton Global, Duke, Kellogg, Booth).

In one month is my mid term review.. Should I let my mentor know I'm applying for mba this year now or should I wait till after the review session? I'm afraid mentioning going to b school would hurt my "fast promotion". What's your guy's experience? :)
