What do you guys think about people putting credentials in their email signatures and/or LinkedIn profiles? Eg, CPA, MBA, PhD, etc.?

In one month is my mid term review.. Should I let my mentor know I'm applying for mba this year now or should I wait till after the review session? I'm afraid mentioning going to b school would hurt my "fast promotion". What's your guy's experience? :)

When would be the right time for me to get an MBA given my background?

I was a teacher for 4 years and transitioned into the corporate world. I have 6 months experience in marketing and that’s what I currently do, but plan for a lateral move in the future. I’ve seen suggestions of 3-7 years experience - does my teaching experience factor in? Or should I consider the 3-7 years only of my corporate time? Or is an MBA sooner a good move because of my big career transition (and future lateral)?

I exited to FAANG from big4 and part of me is seriously thinking about getting an mba to go to mbb. Does that make any sense?

I graduated with my MBA in finance in 2020 and began working at a bank as a Management Trainee. 2 years later, I am an assistant to a financial advisor studying to become a financial advisor. However, I have to do this on MY time and not the bank's.

Any recommendations for certifications, ideally under $1,000? I've seen several but not sure of the quality or the relevance. I'm already working in UX unofficially and have updated my resume but looking to make a switch to user experience research. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

How do you all deal with time management - and specifically time estimate - problems?

I always underestimate how long things will take, both because we ADHD’ers view time differently and because I don’t build in time for getting distracted.

I work with a partner who asks me by when I can get something done rather than giving a deadline. I appreciate the flexibility but I always short sell myself and end up pulling all-nighters to meet my self-imposed unrealistic deadlines.
