How strict is PwC on collecting back green card application fees when leaving the company with an approved I-140. Have anyone experienced this or know of someone who recently left the firm?

Did a first interview with hr rep, went very well. she set up the hiring manager meeting for a few days later. Met with the manager. Another great conversation, went over time and was told I’d hear back about panel set up. Following day I get a request from hr rep to “continue the conversation” with manager. This is set up Tuesday.
