How to best prep for an experienced hire case interview? I’ve been out of school for about 4 years and honestly have a heavy tech implementation background from big4, so I’m getting anxious about case interview! I only have 2 weeks to prep and my numeracy skill isn’t the greatest.

Is a “coffee chat” the same as a first round interview for on-cycle recruiting right now?

3L with mostly A’s and B’s. I am having the worst luck trying to find work for after school and my experience working with lawyers has left me completely dejected. I cannot get an interview to save my life. I was so excited to get an externship summer after 2L with a small business and IP firm only to get yelled at on the phone a few times for not doing an assignment correctly. Mind you, I was working FOR FREE as it was a school connected externship. That made me never want to work in the law.

How much time it takes for Barclays to get back. I interviewed for full stack profile yoe: 5.6 cleared all the rounds 3 weeks back still no call from HR. I asked 25 cctc: 19.

Starting soon in Boston but the the WFH situation was still TBD when I interviewed. Are there any updates on when everyone would need to go back to office full time in the U.S.?

They offer two options: the “traditional” course (which lasts around 2.5 months) and an extended 6-month course. How does WLB/hours change as you progress within McKinsey(BA->EM->AP)? In other words, do you work less hours at McKinsey when you become more senior?

If Kanye becomes president then I can get into MBB. All things are possible.

Read that McK is paying 2K higher than BCG this year which means BCG will probably raise again next year to at least match. However, they can’t just copy McK with 2K to match because that would look bad so they’ll have to beat it again. Then McK and Bain will follow. Barring a devastating recession, I’m guessing this means MBB is all getting raises again next year?

Summer intern at BCG. I've been told by a few people that you need to spend your first few cases "earning your stripes" to gain staffing optionality or be servile/loyal to a pyramid to gain access to the cooler case work within that PA. It's seemed particularly emphasized at times.

Is this the standard at McK? I'm trying to guage the staffing optionality and openness of McKinsey culture to direct your random walk.
