How to bill (hourly) when traveling for a client? Would you count all travel time spent? I am freelance consulting and have been at a conference this week, with early / late flights and long dinners. My gut says I should bill for all travel time but not the social dinner time, any thoughts would be appreciated!

I am not too involved in the project but I was in a few meetings and went on a field trip with them as well.
The position that I am applying for is in a different team and city.
Will this considered “poaching” if the consulting firm hires me? Would they need to talk to my current employer?

The thing is, my other lead progressed very well, it's also in the Private Equity space, an Investor Relations manager role, boring but good money. they pressed me to go through all the process by the end of the week but I won’t be able to advance much with McKinsey by then…Super stressed, what should I do?
