How to transition from management consulting to commodity/futures trading (I.e. risk management)? Books to read, general advice, anything is appreciated!

I’m a pharmacist and currently doing an MBA. I have only 2 YOE as a pharmacist and I’m trying to find a career path that will suit me. I completely regret choosing pharmacy and I want to reorient myself. Any advices as where to start applying? ( FYI I particularly enjoyed finance during the master)

I'm a senior AD and all the resources out there are for juniors. I'm not sure what I need - I feel pretty confident in most areas - so maybe all I need is time to practice and get better. VC / PE / MMB comp and trajectory comparisons? Is it better to stay in MMB until later in your career then switch to PE/VC or better to make the move earlier.

Leaving for a series C unicorn company with less than 1 YOE. Should I stay in consulting? The TC is 15% lower but the hours are 9-5 and ex MBB people with 3 YOE exit to the same position but one level above me.

Client recently offered me a job for an open req (industry eq SM). The work is flexible, the req is just to get me in the door but I decide what I want to work on (which I trust to be true). Much better culture, wlb, etc., but I’d be taking a 100k pay cut and be an IC with no team. Is it worth taking a step back in pay and responsibilities, or does it seem possible to get all in one?

Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team? I'm looking for recommendations for two areas: 1) in general laying the groundwork in a startup to have the tools and especially processes in place to scale, and 2) tactical focus on building a SaaS project. I've been promoted into a management role from Dev roots, so need to learn more PM processes to be an effective manager in day job, plus would like to start building my own SaaS solution.

Does studying for top consulting firms’ case interviews help in any way for interviews with other firms (e.g., FAANG case interviews) ?
