A BCG recruiter ghosted me after she reached out to schedule an interview. How long should I wait before following up? What is the common courtesy to give to ppl at BCG. I don’t wanna come off as too aggressive but I really need to get this interview set as there are other pending confirmations Boston Consulting Group

Ralphs (there’s no apostrophe) is a Kroger mainstay, it’s nowhere near the bottom.
Gelson’s is fairly upmarket, similar to Bristol Farms, and you’ll still pay reasonable prices for staples. It’s no Erewhon (nothing is - that place is Yeezy-level scamming of people with way too much money)
Agreed lol for yeezy level scamming. My go to descriptor
Ranking based on bouginess:
Tier 1
Erewhon
Tier 2
Gelson’s
Bristol Farms
Tier 3
Whole Foods
Sprouts
Tier 4
Ralphs
Vons
Pavilions
Trader Joe’s
Note I’m not ranking specialty supermarkets, ethnic supermarkets, smaller scale markets (s.g., Jons), or discount markets (Smart & Final, etc.)
I'd skip your tier 3 and bump whole foods up and Sprouts down
It's up there - above whole foods.
Maybe give other grocery store as reference....gelsons just a bougie whole foods
Ralphs is a perfectly fine grocery store.
designer grocery monstrosities like Erewhon are just a social statement.
Vallarta Supermarkets is by far my favorite.
I love Vallarta. Sprouts is a strange combo of a big deli/to-go entree area, bulk stuff, good produce, some bougie stuff, and 5 aisles of weird supplements. I really don't understand Sprouts. There's also a grocery store in my neighborhood that looks to be a chain based on the 18-wheelers parked in the loading area called Staters. It's actually pretty good. I'm honestly really happy with shopping at Ralphs.
Erehwon and Whole Foods are way overrated.
Depending on location, Ralphs is good. Probably underrated.
Trader Joe's is waaay overrated except for snacks.
Bristol Farms is top notch for meats and for wine.
Gelson's is good too.
Sprouts is where it's at.
I wish. I mean I said I like Ralphs (rewards member here) and avoid WF and Erehwon, so...
Personally I don’t like the vibe of gelsons. The lighting in there is off and the produce isn’t stacked or looks good.
Based on vibe:
1 erewhon/Bristol farms
2 Whole Foods/sprouts
3 Trader Joe’s
4 gelsons/pavilions
5 vons/Ralph’s
someone i know once described Gelson's as "Ralphs groceries at whole foods prices"
This must have been before the Amazon acquisition. Now I’d say Gelson’s is definitely more expensive than Whole Foods.
