How’s the in-house privacy/cyber hiring market these days? I’m currently in-house, and passively looking for a new role, but kind of surprised by how few bites I’ve gotten on my applications.

I have given my interview in HCL and cleared 1 TP, 1 hcl manager & Client TP and Client Manager rounds .
In initial screening HR told the generic statement of 30-40% and I have given my ask as 50% minimum. After clearing the rounds I heard from the project team that Client has given great feedback and wanted to take me in .
What is the % I can ask in HR Discussion and will they reject in HR if I ask more now .
I have 9.5 years total experience and role is Storage Architect.

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)

Serving Notice period with 24 days left and Currently learning AWS cloud practioner from udemy(Stephane) and planning to do certification on that within next two weeks. Will it be possible for me to clear interviews saying 2YOE in Aws with a new profile in last two weeks of NP to enter into Aws cloud domain?

I have an approved i140 from company A, I got an offer from company B but as per their policy new perm will only be applied after 1 year. Fellow enterprise tech sales fish, I’m interested to hear your perspective. I’ve been in a rut lately and seriously considering leaving sales. I think it’s primarily fueled by one thing:
After a 6 mo cycle I closed a large deal (4x the average deal size) prior to receiving delayed 2022 comp plans. The deal counts as a 2022 deal. On last years comp plan it would’ve paid out at 10%. This year it pays out at a measly 4%.
