How’s the work life balance where you work ?

How is the WLB and travel requirements in EY-Parthenon India(Senior Associate in Strategy and Transactions)?

Assuming a similar work schedule, does your SO really pull a 50/50 split at home of handling kids, domestic chores, etc? Doubt anyone has it down perfectly but how out of whack does the balance need to be before an issue? Has talking with your SO about unequal distribution of chores ever worked? Looking around me still seeing a lot of wife having to take the back seat career wise and driving the fort at home espec with kids

Please suggest in terms of learning, job security and work life balance which organisation to go for in the current time from the below offers...

Thoughts: Managers and senior managers should intervene when project folks starts working more than 8 hours. It's sad that initially everybody talks about 8 hours work goal but employee forced or end up working more than 10 hours. Company is not asking you to work more than 8 hours, it's the pressure from peers and seniors and managers who do "a gentle request" to finish a task asap.
Also managers, Please teach new techies to hold the horses and not put there peer in pressure.

I’ve been working to an unhealthy degree lately. And I’ve been making the excuse that I have a lot of work right now, but I’m starting to wonder if I’m addicted to it. Part of it is anxiety and perfectionism. But my behavior is now actively harmful to myself and starting to harm my marriage.

How do I stop? I’m not talking work-life balance. I mean, how do I say, “I don’t care that the client wants this tomorrow and I’m not close to done, I’m going to sleep tonight”?

And the other offer has a good pay and good designation (Associate Consultant) rather than the one I choose. Now i feel very low due to this decision that I took. I am currently a medical biller and coder that just graduated. I am currently in an entry level position because I am still studying to get certified. I will have a year's work of exp in July and will sign a contract for another year because my boss is training me in more I don't know.
