I'm from the Bangalore office but most of these points will be relevant for the Gurgaon office as well since we staff teams across offices on a project.
1) Culture - Highly dependent on partner and team you work with. In some teams the culture is really cut throat and competitive and in some it's laid back and easy going.
2) Growth - The firm is growing rapidly especially in tech service lines. Fast promotion timelines and you can expect your responsibilities to increase each year.
3) WLB - Dependent on project but 90% of the time it's bad. 12 hour days are common and as you move higher up it gets worse. Before lockdown we had travel as well but I'm not sure how much we'll be travelling after the pandemic ends. Atleast until next year it's all wfh.
Senior consultants lead a particular part/work on the project. You will have analysts and consultants under you and you are expected to coach them as well as deliver your part of the work. It gets hectic because to get promoted to manager you will have to show leadership skills as well as expertise in your area as well as start developing client relationships.
Thanks for the explanation.. Thank you so much
