Recently I had interview with tcs . During hr dicuession the hr person offered me 7.5lpa currently my CTC is 5lpa with wipro. Then later on we agreed to 8lpa during dicuession. So he told he will dicuess with senior level for approval for 8lpa then he release a sample ctc break up and asked me to accept it and he told he will release final offer after higher level discussion. I agreed for that. After two day he called me and offer only 6.8lpa. Why he changed this any idea? I declined.Surprising hr behaviour?

I am an Senior iOS developer. YOE is 8.5. Currently getting 13 LPA. Getting promotion in a month with 25 to 30 percent hike which comes nearly 16.8 LPA. I recently had an interview with HCL and cleared 2 rounds of technical interview. I waited for a week for HR call but no such call was received. I then contacted the POC who scheduled the interview (he is an HCL employee) and he said that I have been shortlisted and will receive HR call shortly.
