First year lit associate here. I had a tough time deciding between corporate and lit and chose lit because I wanted to litigate. Its only been a few months but I’m not enjoying the people or the work as it turns out (too many internal investigations and researching obscure issues, haven’t been on a single filed case yet). I really like LGL because I get to work on something new every day and most of the questions posed to me require creative thinking/solutions. But I do find myself feeling discouraged many days bc there is just so much I don’t know. I understand things will get better and may come easier to me with time and experience. How long did it take for you to feel comfortable and feel like you have a handle on most issues?
