I am a Senior FE/full-stack (~20 YOE). Received an offer from a small high-intensity company: 5 days in office, occasional nights/weekends, high ownership, very “move fast” culture.

I targeted ~180k–210k for this senior role in a high-cost market, but the offer came in below. It’s similar comp to what I made years ago in a more stable hybrid role.

Still interviewing with established hybrid companies discussing comp closer to my range.

Take the real offer, or bet on better long-term alignment?

Does anyone have advice on transitioning from insurance to another industry? I am Vice President of a small commercial brokerage- basically I do everything except write the checks.
