I'm on L1-B Blanket visa and my ONLY endorsed copy of I-129s was collected by the officer at POE. (I don't have a photo or photocopy of the form).
Is there any way to get a copy of the stamped I129S from the authority. Whom should I contact? Can someone please guide me.!!!
I didn't know that it was required to be shown every time at POE ☹️
Nb: One stamped copy is with Chennai US Consulate and other copy is with CBP officer at airport

Hi all, looking for views on this situation. The law firm doing my visa transfer shared my confidential data with a third person assuming they were me. They were emailing somebody in their firm with the same name as me assuming it was my email they were sending the details too (PII), ofc I haven’t started at the firm yet. To me this is a significant privacy and security lapse, and lack of due diligence. I’m quite concerned but not sure what to do - chalk it up to an honest mistake or escalate?

My background check is taking forever and now they are asking me to provide my letter of separation for a job I held 7 years back.
This is making me anxious since I am also in the process of H1B transfer - I just want them to tell me if I passed the check or not before I resign.

I am a data scientist working for a big corporation in Canada. I want to know what usually happens if an employee asks to transfer to US office but working with the same team? Do they usually sponsor for the US work visa?

How long does it take for H1B transfer? Is premium processing available? If the transfer gets denied, can you switch to TN route instead? for the same employer?

Need some advice please from any of you who can offer some guidance. H1B is maxing out in August, waiting for perm which should be approved in August but to avoid the risk of maxing out my family and I will be leaving the country in a few weeks and will return once the perm is approved. The dilemma is whether or not we should put stuff in storage. Does USCIS need me to have a physical address in the US? Not sure how best to navigate this. Any advice would be appreciated🙏
