I am considering an opportunity where I DONT get a yearly stock grant and currently DO get one. The base would basically be the same, bonus is the same, so it’s a net loss - but I’m way more excited about the company, role, team, etc. How much should I consider that stock? It’s only $20k right now but would grow much more in the future - I’m afraid I’m making a mistake but also think I’m willing to forfeit it.

On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). Should I leave my company? I have practiced for five years and make $121k as an employee of a financial services company. As the only attorney, I oversee all statewide collections efforts, from demand letter to garnishment, with a case volume of nearly 7k new cases per year, of which the majority I end up litigating. I receive only a $1k bonus per year. Is my compensation fair? My last insurance defense gig was $75k.
