I am currently a FA and applied for SFA position. Job1: I got an offer for 93.5k with 4K sign-on bonus. Job 2: I have a second round interview with another company where a recruiter said will get me close 95k to 105k. Is it ok for me to go ahead and accept job 1 while I go thru thru the interview process and get a chance to get the position and negotiate for a better offer? I would really appreciate some advice?

In the grand scheme of a long-term career, $10-12k over a couple of years isn’t a big difference. Do you have a sense for where you would genuinely be happier? Where you’d have better long-term career growth opportunities? Where the compensation trajectory is steeper (i.e., could you make up the $12k difference at the first place pretty quickly?)? To me those would be more material decision factors than the comp difference on its own.

I would just put off the decision as long as you can

Hi all, negotiating with HR on salary for a new AS position and want to know what’s fair. I was an AE for two years, took a promotion at another agency for SAE for only 8 months and am now being recruited for AS at 80k. All of my agencies have been large, I’ve worked on pharma and a large global account, I also started “managing” at the AE level due to my team’s structure. Is $80k fair? Thanks!

What’s the best way to maximize having both the chase freedom unlimited and sapphire preferred?

For context, I’ve had the unlimited for 2 years and just opened the preferred because of the bonus offer. I will hit the $4k spending target, but after that, what’s the best way to use these two in tandem, given the unlimited rewards are all around much better.
