Looking for a position in Las vegas !?
Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.

I have been looking since January. Was with an accounting firm for over 21 years. I don’t have degrees and am over 50 and it seems I’ve gotten more dear John letters than interviews.
I am over 50 as well and see ageism, particularly with women, as a major issue often overshadowed by inclusion and diversity. Yet, older adults are not included in these terms. I’m very experienced as well and keep up with technology within my field often utilizing it more than my younger co-workers. However, promotions and movement are focused on co-workers half my age. I’ve heard derogatory remarks towards the older generation as well - it’s not pretty.
You are probably right. Most companies looks for younger staff because they feel they can pay them less because they might not have the financial responsibilities of someone older. They might also think someone younger would be more adaptable to new computer programs.
Personally, I'd welcome older admin on my team.
I am currently have issues with the 30 and under crowd getting drunk at company events, vaping/smoking weed, etc.
Feeling the same. Employed as I'm searching for another role and all rejections within a week. The best thing to do is keep applying and stay hopeful. Network and keep your chin up!
