As an ADC applying this summer for 2022 start, I haven’t gotten a chance to connect with any L.E.K. Consulting members and I really want to get to know the company better before moving on with my application. Any L.E.K. Consulting fish out there willing to spare a few minutes to chat about their work, the company, the culture etc? Thanks!

It happens. It's hard not to feel that way sometimes. But ultimately, it's important to just not let yourself get to that place of feeling excited about a job before it's a reality. Even when you're in the final stages, you're usually competing with others. Until you have the offer, it's not your job.

Stop getting invested in roles you’re applying to. That’s not how this job market works. Narrow your search to roles you’re competitive for, apply, and forget unless/until you get a screener. If you get a screener, keep applying and forget unless/until you get call backs, etc.
Every role has dozens or even hundreds of applicants. It is a highly competitive market and most candidates are not competitive, so you need to play to your strong suits and not get caught up on individual roles.
I’d caution against any exercises that take any real amount of time. It’s too much, and this is an incredibly competitive job market. That is the best way to not become too involved in the process.
