I am on Canada onsite and expecting a baby soon and delivery will be here in canada, so by birth will be Canadian Citizen. So if i continue my baby as canadian citizen can i change baby to Indian citizen when we go back to india(heard that should take indian citizenship with in 1 year of birth by applying to indian embasy) Also baby continue to as Canadian what will be the limitations in India. We are not planning to settle in Canada. So is it better to change baby's citizenship

When is the good time to tell the company that I am 3 months pregnant. My date of joining is 18th of July. I understand by law I need to finish 80days with the company before I avail maternity benefits which I can easily do in next 3 months.
I want to understand if women who go on maternity leave during probation are treated differently or if there will be discrimination once I let them know about my situation. Wipro Accenture Allstate Quantiphi analytics pvt ltd.

Hi, In my opinion apply for Indian citizenship for your baby within 1yr of birth otherwise in later years it will be a tedious task. Taking Indian citizenship is one of the most difficult things so better do that within the time frame, Also you cannot have dual citizenship if you're applying for Indian citizenship
I would suggest letting your kid stay Canadian. You made your choice but just in case, if the kid wants to move to Canada later in life, he/she won't have any issues in moving here. You can apply for an OCI card for your kid which will give them the same benefits as citizens beside voting in India. You can look into OCI in more detail before making any decision. Rest depends on what you and your spouse think. All the very best for your and your kid's future.
