As an ADC applying this summer for 2022 start, I haven’t gotten a chance to connect with any L.E.K. Consulting members and I really want to get to know the company better before moving on with my application. Any L.E.K. Consulting fish out there willing to spare a few minutes to chat about their work, the company, the culture etc? Thanks!

I left public after a year as manager and found industry roles that came with a raise over my public salary were difficult to come by. My suggestion would be that if you know you’re already looking to leave then take the time to hunt around for the right role with the mix of what you’d like it to have in order to leave. Experience senior or new manager in public doesn’t matter as much as
Find the role that works for you, which may take a while. The conventional wisdom traditionally was that you left immediately after making it to the next level, as some companies would not hire up a level. That seems to be less prevalent in the last 10 years or so. If the right manager opportunity comes up now, go for it. Unless you're planning on staying until senior manager, it won't make much of a difference. Good luck!
Doesn’t matter. Leave when you get the right exit.
