Hi fishes,
Why TCS is so rude and self proclaimed kinda. I declined TCS offer last year as they were giving very less CTC. Now I got interviewed again with TCS and cleared all the rounds but they are not reactivating my ibegin portal for document upload since I rejected them last year...in this way u think they will never ever reactivate my profile.

With as competitive as the market is right now, I would (when possible) double check all auto populated information before clicking the submit button. Many employer sites provide the feature, but it is not perfect and could potentially auto-screen you depending on how their system works. Compared to a couple years ago when I voluntarily changed jobs and received a few rejections, new wording I'm seeing on rejections in the current market often includes "we were fortunate to receive a large pool of quality candidates". There is a lot of competition right now, I'd recommend being as thorough as possible with any job applications.
It was suggested to me to avoid the auto-fill or easy-apply options when possible and instead apply directly on employer websites manually filling in all information. The one personal preference decision I've heard is whether or not to include a cover letter. It's not a major deciding factor these days as long as you're an effective communicator in the initial phone screen.
To answer your original question, I would pull the application and resubmit.
I imagine they would look through your résumé if you had the skills they were looking for. You’re probably fine to leave it.
Resubmit it. No question about it. HR personnel do not know job specifics and will only pass on resumes that filter through. It’s easier for them to say “no” than take the time to do any kind of meaningful review. Do not make the mistake of assuming your resume will receive ANY kind of personalized attention from an HR department.
Nice move calling to ask. That might actually make it through that the hiring manager knows you called to check in.
Re apply. Do it yourself.
Auto fill for resumes, works for basic resumes. More technical and with bullets or other character add-ons in resume. I noticed it duplicates jobs listed on resume or if it incorrectly reads resume. It does not help the person applying for job above 70% of time. As jobots on websites are not up the full task either of helping.
Technology is here to help all.
So now 50, 100,or 1,000 job applicants resumes are pushed through faster, but not really successfully. These tools are good but need improvements.
