I built a small commerical litigation book over the last 6 months while practicing solo. I don’t want to service the cases anymore and want to switch entirely to transactional work. What should I be doing now to join a firm who wants to take over the files, and would hire me into a different department?

Curious if anyone else is or has been in the same boat. I started as an assistant at an entertainment law firm prior to passing the bar. Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate. That was 1.5 years ago and I am still in the limbo of juggling my own workload + doing assistant roles for my supervisors. I have also had no increase in pay, which is a huge deal for me. Is this normal in the entertainment world? Any suggestions?
