I would personally get an adjustable kettlebell! It really helps you give yourself the same challenges that strength training does.
Kettlebells are awesome! I have a few in my home gym and love the versatility. I'd go with a standard cast iron and would avoid the middle two options. Adjustable is nice in theory, but if adding weight makes the kb taller, it can impede some movements. Mine are from Rogue and they're perfect IMO, if a little pricier than other brands.
Love me some kettlebell workouts! That was my first intro to strength training as well, OP. I would pick a nice cast iron kettlebell in whatever weight you need. Others work fine to but that's my suggestion.
fine too*
I recently discovered my love for weights too! Hope you keep going on your journey. My weights, including my kettlebell are form Rep Fitness. Good quality stuff.
Taking classes has been one of my favorite ways to explore new things! One flat fee instead of investing in a ton of equipment before I even know if I’ll really like it or not. Haven’t tried out the kettlebell, but might try it out soon. Anybody else find something unexpected they liked from a class like that?
OP this is really good to know because there is a class like that at the gym that I go to but I have been too nervous to try it. I really want to get out of my comfort zone and try some new things this year.
