I end up going off track more than I should, and it usually starts with my boss being vague about what she wants. I’ll move forward based on the direction I was given, then later it turns into, “Why did you do it that way?” and the tone makes it feel like I messed up because I’m incompetent. What’s hard is she rarely owns that the guidance changed, so I’m left defending decisions I made with incomplete info.
How can I address this? Do I need to work somewhere else? It’s v demoralizing.

Who is hiring?

“Job hopper” and “quiet quitting” are all schemes made up by boomers to make you think everything is the employees fault. When in reality people are just getting out of bad situations. Older companies do whatever they can to pay you the least amount and get the max work out of you. Except our generation will just leave amid we’re being mistreated, not complain for 35 years making 50k and 0 advancement.

I left my job about a year ago to relocate, make sure it was the right decision and start a side business in the mean time. Now I’m actively looking for a new sales position, have tons of experience, but am struggling to even get a response from job apps. I am wondering if this is because of my employment gap? How would someone coming from mostly retail wireless sales get into the tech sales industry?
