I feel really lost. I've been laid off for 8 months now and I've been in HR. I did not have an education in HR but training at the company I worked for was really bad. I'm not even sure if I want to go back to HR . I feel really lost. I've job hopped quite a bit and I don't feel like employers have a good impression of me..do you guys recommend taking courses? What if I have no idea what I want to do?

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks.
