I find it frustrating that nearly all graphic Design entry level jobs require at least three years of professional experience to even be considered for a job. I don’t have that much experience. That is not an entry level position. How can I get that type of job without professional experience, and only a BFA in Graphic Design and Marketing?

Not everyone! Our company is about to start looking for an entry-level graphic designer/visual designer with a taste for marketing. Work experience less important than finding someone who takes initiative, is keen and wants to learn. Remote position. Feel free to message me your resume and a link to a portfolio or some work I can see online if you're interested.
Cheers!

What is the name of your company?

I feel the exact same way. I've been job searching for two weeks and almost every single "entry job" for graphic designers requires several years experience. It's quite frustrating.

Hi all,
I have been a practicing DPT (doctor of physical therapy) for 9 years and am a certified orthopedic specialist. I have worked in multiple environments including hospital based outpatient sports ortho and acute care. I am about to finish up my MBA with a focus on healthcare administration, and am worried that my current place of work may not have a place for me to grow into. I'm hoping that some of you may have suggestions of roles or positions to pursue? Thank you!

Guilt and shame about working in a legal position for years where, instead of using my law degree (was supposed to do legal work per the job posting), I served as a personal assistant to my boss/did nothing for maybe half the time. I feel like I was paid for work I didn't do. I've since left that job but the guilt and shame remains. I feel that I lack the character of a lawyer and that I am unworthy of the profession. I don't know how to make up for the lost years or how to forgive myself.

1) stay in my company to quickly become BD Director and then exit (however my learning opportunities within my current company might be limited)
2) go do consulting for a few years
3) any other recommendations?

Thanks!
