I find that when speaking to recruiters they typically ask for salary range my strategy has been to flip the question and ask for the salary band for the role. I’ve had about an 98% success. I’m wanting to know if there any other strategies you guys use during negotiations/interviews?

How is the Thoughtworks working model?
1. Full time Work From Office.
2. Hybrid (how many days work from office are needed in a week or month?)
3. Completely Flexible (employees can work remotely as much as they want)

Which one should I go for?

1. Oracle - 18.3 LPA fixed + probable bonus (I may or may not get)
2. Amadeus - 18 fixed + 1.5 variable.

Amadeus is also giving joining bonus of 75k. Amadeus is paying more, may give better hikes too, but I am finding it hard to let go off Oracle's brand name on my resume even if it's means around 2L less over an year. I am planning to work for atleast 3 years in my next company.

What would you have done in my place? Should I go for Oracle or Amadeus?

I hit rock bottom (I mean it) and in 6 weeks I managed a vacation, landed a new job, found a great guy, and landed a bomb apartment. Everything can change at the drop of a hat - keep your chin up.
