Yo! Was having this EXACT feeling this week. This job is the best and the worst at the same time.

I hear you. My life for the past 12 years, countless highs and lows. Industry seems to have fewer extremes but also much less room to take risks and have opportunities to reset, which are the very things that drew me to consulting.

I understand. I need to leave for family sanity but don’t know if I am capable of anything beyond creating PowerPoint decks

My concern is that I am a generalist, hard to know what role to apply outside of consulting

Let me guess, you are stuck in staff aug. roles?

^^^

That's consulting? We work in a very non stagnant job. One project might be awesome and the next blows.

Question! I just moved(transferred) to another team of my company and received new title, graphic & creative services. I was a senior graphic designer at the previous team. What do you think about my new title? I know that title is not a big thing but why I feel like my title is downgraded here… Good thing is my jobs here at my current team are what I really wanted to do. This is amazing. I love my new team and people here! Super healthy working environment! But just curious about the title.

The cheapest ticket in the whole arena, basically top row so you can’t see crap, is $506 before you start with the fees!!! Am I wrong or is that just bananas???? Oh well, pay per view it is, maybe have some friends over. Just complaining… happy Friday!

Hi Guyz,

I went through the entire recruitment process and got selected for IBM ISL. Now I am being told by the HR that they are unable to release offer as there is a hiring freeze.

Can any one please tell me if its correct or just an excuse not to give me offer. If its true, when will this freeze be removed?
