If it makes you happy, why it would it be dumb?
I’d never rent a Ferrari in like Vegas or something, that’s lame and gauche. But renting a 911 to take for a nice day out seems different to me.
Thank you, I just thought it’d be cool and fun.
I wish they rented classic muscle cars. I'd have to seriously consider renting one on my birthday if that were to happen.
Check out Turo. They have a variety of rental cars.
Who gives a fúck what you spend a few hundred bucks on.
If you want to go the strip club, go for it. If you want to go the casino, go for it. If you want to buy some blow, go for it.
+ 1 for hookers and blow
Do it! But be prepared to want to buy one after.
Just make sure you get the full/max insurance package from the rental firm.
Absolutely, I wouldn’t mess with that.
I would do it in a heartbeat, but I would probably map out a relatively fun drive ahead of time to best make use of the time. I've putted around town in some fast and quick cars, there is nothing exciting about driving a sports car in traffic.
I'm only a couple hours from Sonoma raceway, and they offer track experiences for a reasonable amount, you might see if there is anything similar near you.
We did this for my dad on his birthday last year. Got to spend the weekend driving around a 911 targa and loved it
Do it! Especially If driving makes you happy. Just check the fine print on the insurance they offer
I always rent something fun for my birthday. I’d rather the experience than material gifts. Enjoy it.
It’s only $100. Rent it, go have fun!
Not dumb at all. Plan a drive on a nice scenic route. It’ll be a blast!
Another good idea is to rent a vehicle that you might be looking at buying. I think before I buy my next vehicle I'm going to rent a similar vehicle for a week or so to make sure I really like it. Vehicles cost so much these days just test driving one for a few minuets don't really give you a very good idea if it will fit your needs.
I spend at least $300 every time I walk out my door so $100 to drive a Porsche for a day, any Porsche for that matter, is a deal
The Extreme Experience take a Porsche around a track.
