I get it, women in engineering are a bit of a rarity. But it feels like my coworkers don't talk around me and it's really awkward. Sometimes I wish I could just blend in

The first couple months are hard, but I do feel like it got easier for me. You get to know your coworkers once you start working on projects with them and it becomes a lot less awkward.

I've been there, so many times. It's really difficult. People probably don't realize how awkward you feel though, so it's possible that they just don't know you'd like to talk to them. Try asking someone to go get coffee with you during a break, even if it's just in the staff room, that's a good icebreaker

Hi everyone

I'm in a business development role based in Asia. May I get your thoughts/pointers on the CAIA?

I'm aware that the CAIA is not as popular in Asia compared to the CFA. From my knowledge, there are no CAIA holders in my current firm within the Asian region, despite dealing with alternative investments.

Would be happy to hear your thoughts regarding the CAIA, and study tips if you have any!

Hi y’all! I’m a program manager for a fang company. The company used to be called “F..” if you catch my drift. But im on contract. I found an internal role I’m going to apply for but wanted to see what the salary range truly was for a Strategic Partner Manager? I make 140k if I was full-time and Im really proud of myself cause I negotiated that rate. Looking to continue to fight for my worth when it’s time to negotiate lol. Appreciate the insight!
