Yes. Study and have a rigorous plan. My first GMAT I scored a 450. I am first gen Hispanic and English is my second language. I studied for about 3 months and through practice I was able to get my score up to 700. The test is not that challenging. You just have to learn the tips and tricks and pretty basic stuff in my opinion.
Yes , there are plenty of graduate schools that dont require a GRE or GMAT to attend. Standardized test or not for everyone. You will be just fine.
