I'm not sure, but I feel like policies like this are becoming more prevalent to help ensure the integrity of law enforcement. They differ from one Academy to the next, but it's probably not that bad unless you're a troublemaker. ;)

That is true. I attended the academy and witnessed the 3 strike rule first-hand. If a recruit received three demerits, they were immediately dismissed from the academy with no chance of returning.

Hi all! I need some candid advice from y'all. How do I get my manager to see my value and see that I'm actually doing a lot of work? For some reason all the other departments & teams I work with always say how grateful they are that I've joined the company because I've really been cleaning things up & making their lives way easier. But for some reason in my manager's eyes all I do is "meets expectations". I already am doing senior level work as the only senior on our team left a month in... (1)

Any working mothers in here who loves the company they’re working for? I am thinking about switching firms and need some honest thoughts on companies that doesn’t only say, but actually practice flexibility for work life balance and offers good $$$.

I am a high performer at my current firm but they started questioning working arrangements of folks based on the new members who are huge in-office folks, fast turnover within the team, etc. This wasn’t an issue when I first joined.
