I got fucked by travel today, can I sleep in SFO? I land at 1am and my connecting flight is 8am… can I just stay in the terminal and sleep?

I'm a light sleeper who cares too much about the people around me, but I've got a flight to London next Friday from 7pm NYC time to 7am UK time, and I'd really like to master sleeping on a plane just this once and not be in jet lag hell for the entire day after I land. I'll be in premium economy in an aisle seat. I usually take melatonin before bed and sleep on my side. Does anyone have suggestions for an OTC sleeping pill or pillow that actually works, or other advice for sleeping on a plane?
