Hi! A friend recently launched a Project Management software called Heycollab - I think it’s pretty cool and like the UI but I’d love to get more feedback - they’re very passionate about the product and would appreciate the help!

I’ve had interviews go well that I didn’t get, and ones where I thought I bombed but was passed to the next round. I don’t know what to think anymore, so I try not to go too much on gut feelings or dwell on things and just move on to the next one. The only bar I try to measure against is my own performance, and figure out how I can do better on certain questions next time so I’m more prepared. Sometimes I’m competing against someone way more qualified. In those cases, no matter how well you do, you can’t compete, especially in this market where there are so many very highly qualified people also looking.
Feelings are not facts, and good rapport isn't the only deciding factor.

Definitely don’t over analyze. It’s happening to lots of folks. And it never used to be like this. The industry is going through it and hiring practices have started to lack professionalism.
It is possible to have a great interview and still not hear anything back. You probably did nothing wrong. That is just how the market is right now.

There are multiple candidates for jobs. There was probably somebody who was a better value for the company

Been there, done that. It's hard not to. For me personally I had a good interview on Friday and I am already starting to visualize myself in the position. I wish I could stop as it only makes the rejection hit harder/hurt more when it happens.
