Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

Even if pay is dollar-to-dollar, your money will go further in Nashville. But it comes down to what lifestyle you want.
It really depends on your lifestyle and preference in terms of culture. San Fran and Nashville are completely different!
If the total comp is the same then your dollar will go further in Nashville. But then you have to live in Nashville.
This is a tough pick - they are both so different! I'm leaning towards San Francisco just based on my previous experiences there but it comes down to lifestyle preferences and goals for your future.
I would go to Nashville but that's cause I can't stand San Fran
If the pay is the same regardless of location, go Nashville. That said, lots of employees have shifted to geographic pay scales. What you get at this company may way above what other employees consider “market value” for Nashville. In changing companies post-lockdown, I've been consistently lowballed and many employers lump Nashville in with the rest if Tennessee. So if there's someone who lives in Jackson, TN they could be offered the same salary as someone living in the downtown Nashville core despite Nashville being 15% more expensive than the rest of the state.
