I have 2 years gap in education. During my TCS interview (technical + managerial combined) manager said, he is giving positive feedback, but it depends on TCS policy if they want to go ahead. Can anyone provide some clarity on it, if gap in education is an issue. Also, when would they be giving feedback on same, any idea?

Is it common to negotiate software engineer salary at smaller companies? I know it’s common at FAANG, but what about for companies with around 200 engineers?
