I have 5 yrs of experience in mktg and got laid off for a second time at the end of June. I’ve been applying to 100+ jobs, have had 25 interviews.

- I love mktg and don’t want to leave, but may have to. I’ve held am, social media manager, copywriter roles. Any ideas for roles that would be easily transferable from marketing?

-I’ve applied to roles on UpWork in the past but haven’t had luck. Any tips?

My company went toxic in the last couple months. Chose me and started interviewing. Had a very successful interview with Amazon but recruiter is working hard trying to place me and said there’s no knowing how long to find a team. Meanwhile I just received a Director offer for a company with a 29% pay bump July 1. If Amazon or any other FAANG/large co gets back to me, is there an acceptable way to not burn bridges with new job and accept or delay start date with FAANG? Or fuck it just hop?

We Indians are so poor we can't think anything else except money. Whole Fishbowl is all about YOe and Salary. No one interested about if any company doing any innovation or not. B-Tech colleges put ads with Package and Campusing only. Almost 99% Indian YouTube thumbnail is like "5 lakh to 40 lakh", "Interview Experience in bracket 50Lpa" etc..
